I have never made Tres Leche before, but my Puerto Rican friends in Florida often shared it with me and it was always a favorite of mine. I worried when the recipe called for 12 eggs but it turned out perfect!. I baked for 35 minutes. The ladies from my church group loved it!

Which kind of flour do you typically use? All-purpose or cake four?

@Sonia, unless a recipe calls for a specific flour, you always use All Purpose flour, which is regular flour. Hope this helps!

Hola! I’m considering making this recipe but I’m not sure how much I should make. How many servings does this dessert have? I’m making this dish for about 13 people. I’m having almost all of mi primos over and I know we all love Tres Leches. Do you suggest doubling this recipe?

I made this cake for the first time for my son’s 19th Birthday. It was a hit! Everyone loved it! I did add the full can of condensed milk and evaporated milk and it was perfect. This will be my go to recipe for tres leches cake.
