I am currently having that LDR relationship with a latino man I met online. It was my first time to have a boyfriend abroad. I am nervous, excited, doubtful, faithful, and sometimes needy for his time. Your article really helps me a lot on what to do and don’t. I am more aware now, and since we almost had a same input, I hope, we also ended up just like you. I mean, I am looking forward that in God’s perfect time, I will be able to embrace our differences and make our own family too in the future. My boyfriend’s 21, and I am 25. I am from Asia and he’s from US. Truly time is our enemy here, and he’s a fulltime working student. I am already working. So at times, I get insecure about his time, I open it up to him and he told me all the things he is doing and i fully understand him since being a student and working fulltime isn’t as easy as it may seem.
