Thanks so much Amber! Yes, the consistency of goat cheese is similar to cream cheese, maybe not quite as smooth, but pretty close. It isn&#039;t as salty but the taste is a little bit different. I think that you could substitute the two if you wanted and it would still be delicious - although the goat cheese really does go well! Thanks again for the comment!]]></description>

I always imagined the consistency to be similar. Also, is it more, or less, salty than cream cheese? I suppose I&#039;m curious if I might be able to swap the two for this, or any recipe.
