Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup + 2 tablespoons of All Purpose Flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 1/3 cup of baking cocoa
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 package of instant chocolate pudding 5.9 ounce
  • 3/4 cup of sour cream
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup of warm water
  • 1 cup of vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 2 cups of semisweet or milk chocolate chips.
  • Melting chocolate
  • Chopped Pecans optional

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Combine the first seven ingredients in a stand mixer and mix well.
  • Add the sour cream, eggs, water, oil, and vanilla extract and mix very well (this is not a thick batter)
  • Stir in the chocolate chips.
  • Spread the batter evenly in a heavily greased bundt pan.
  • Bake for 50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Let cool in pan for at least one hour before removing.
  • Melt the melting chocolate and then drizzle over the cooled cake.
  • Top with chopped pecans if desired.
