For the Topping
- 1 1/2 Cup All Purpose Flour
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 1 1/2 Tsp Baking Powder
- 3/4 Tsp Salt
- 1/2 Cup Sour Cream
- 1 Tsp Ground Cinnamon
- 1 Stick Unsalted Butter Cold
- 1/4 Cup Coarse Sugar For putting on top
For the Filling
- 1 Can Cherry Pie Filling 20 Oz
- 1 Tbsp Lime Juice
- Lime Zest 1 Lime
- Orange Zest 1 Orange
- 1/2 Tbsp Vanilla Extract
- 1 Tbsp Sugar
For the Topping
Combine the Flour, Sugar, Salt, Cinnamon, and Baking Powder and then cut the cold butter into the mix in a medium sized bowl until it has a sandy texture and consistency.
Add the sour cream and mix, being careful not to overmix.
For the Cobbler
Preheat smoker to 350 Fahrenheit
Add the filling to a round (8 inch) baking dish. Top with the topping and then sprinkle the sugar over the top.
Cook for 30-45 minutes or until the topping is browned and the cherry filling starts to bubble to the top.
Serve immediately with whipped cream or ice cream. This can be served cool as well.
