- 6 Chicken Thighs
- 1 Tablespoon of fresh ginger peeled and finely chopped.
- 4 cloves of garlic finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons of finely chopped onion
- 4 tablespoons of honey
- 2 tablespoons of molasses
- 1 tablespoon of red chili pepper flakes optional
- 1 tablespoon of sriracha optional
- 1/4 cup of soy sauce
- 3 tablespoons of olive oil
- 3 tablespoons of sesame seed oil
- 1 tablespoon of rice wine vinegar
- Salt Pepper, Garlic Powder, and cumin for seasoning the sauce
- Fresh parsley as garnish
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Season each chicken thigh generously with pepper, garlic powder, and cumin.
Add olive oil to a hot frying pan and then add the chicken, skin down and cover.
Let cook for about 7-10 minutes or until the skin is very crispy.
Put the chicken thighs in a baking dish.
Combine the rest of the ingredients in a large bowl to make the sauce.
Add to the baking dish with the chicken.
Bake 40 minutes.
Serve hot.
