Ingredients

  • 6 Chicken Thighs
  • 1 Tablespoon of fresh ginger peeled and finely chopped.
  • 4 cloves of garlic finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons of finely chopped onion
  • 4 tablespoons of honey
  • 2 tablespoons of molasses
  • 1 tablespoon of red chili pepper flakes optional
  • 1 tablespoon of sriracha optional
  • 1/4 cup of soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons of sesame seed oil
  • 1 tablespoon of rice wine vinegar
  • Salt Pepper, Garlic Powder, and cumin for seasoning the sauce
  • Fresh parsley as garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  • Season each chicken thigh generously with pepper, garlic powder, and cumin.
  • Add olive oil to a hot frying pan and then add the chicken, skin down and cover.
  • Let cook for about 7-10 minutes or until the skin is very crispy.
  • Put the chicken thighs in a baking dish.
  • Combine the rest of the ingredients in a large bowl to make the sauce.
  • Add to the baking dish with the chicken.
  • Bake 40 minutes.
  • Serve hot.
