Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cup of flour
  • 1 1/4 cup of sugar
  • 1/2 cup of oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
  • 1 teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
  • 1/3 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 1/3 cup of milk
  • 1 cup of Pumpkin pure
  • 1/4 cup of chocolate chips optional

Instructions

  • Preheat Your Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x5-inch loaf pan, ensuring the bread won't stick.
  • Mix Dry Ingredients: In a medium-sized bowl, add the all-purpose flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and spices. This step ensures that the dry ingredients are well combined and eliminates any lumps.
  • Add in wet ingredients: Add the eggs, oil, milk and then, gently mix in the canned pumpkin puree and any add-ins (like chocolate chips) if desired.
  • Pour into Loaf Pan: Pour the batter into your prepared loaf pan, spreading it out evenly.
  • Bake to Perfection: Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for approximately 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Keep a close eye on it in the final minutes to avoid overbaking.
  • Cool and Enjoy: Once done, remove the pumpkin bread from the oven and allow it to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes. Then, transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
  • Slice and Savor: After the bread has cooled, slice it into thick, aromatic pieces. Serve it with a pat of butter, a drizzle of honey, or simply enjoy it as is.
