Ranch

When I came to the United States for the first time, I had never tried ranch dressing. That is because in Mexico, it really is not very common! That said, I really started to enjoy it from the first time I tried it.

My husband always told me about how good it was and I noticed that he almost always asked for it on the side at most restaurants we went to. One of those times, I decided to try it as well with my fries, and I was surprised how good it was.

We often buy ranch to have at home, but it never really seems to taste the same as when we get it at restaurant. That is why I was excited when I found the recipe for Hidden Valley Restaurant Style Ranch! You can get the mix at the stores and then following the instructions in the recipe at the end of this post, you can make it yourself!

Ranch mix

Hidden Valley Restaurant Style Ranch is the #1 ranch mix used in restaurants, so you know you are getting the real deal when you make this recipe. It only takes a few simple ingredients to make and I can confirm that it brought back memories of each time that I have ordered a side of ranch at a restaurant. I have made my own ranch before, but this just makes it so much easier and I love how quickly I was able to throw it together.

I decided to mix it up today and eat with some delicious panko fried shrimp. Let me say, the combination of flavors was amazing and I don’t think I will be buying bottled ranch as much anymore since this is so easy and delicious.

There are so many options of things that you can dip in Hidden Valley Restaurant Style Ranch. For example, you can dip buffalo wings, chicken tenders, onion rings, fries, and much more.

Oh my. Gosh! This is amazing! I’ve made several other recipes but this one is the best! I love the fresh garlic and chives. I did tweak it a bit to my taste, added a little white pepper and some cayenne. Amazing, thank you!

We absolutely love this dressing as written. Thank you so much for sharing! I will never buy bottled again. The only thing I have done different from making the first few times is adding a dash or two of worcestershire sauce,(We use W sauce… if you haven’t tried it you should!) and sprinkle in some buttermilk spice mix that we get from a local spice house. I also don’t do a full 1/2 cup measure on either the mayo and sour cream. Just back off on it a bit. Like I said though, just delish made as written!!

So yum! i didn’t have buttermilk, so i used regular 2% and squeezed half a lemon to make it acidic. Thanks so much for this!
